THIS IS OUR JUNIOR BEGINNERS CLASS AND IS CATERED TOWARDS KIDS FROM 4-8 YEARS OLD.
This class teaches the kids how a karate dojo operates, how we conduct ourselves during training & the discipline and ettiquette that comes in a traditional dojo.
Limerick Shojinkai Tiger Academy
This is aimed at kids up to 8 years old as an introduction to Shotokan karate training. Each 3 month block will focus on teaching all the fundamental aspects of traditional karate training for children and introducing them to all the various parts of training.
They will learn how to:
Engage in classes with their dojo mates and instructors.
Japanese karate terminology and etiquette.
Dress & tie their belt & uniform correctly.
Build self discipline, confidence & respect.
They will exercise & learn to coordinate their bodies through age appropriate training routines.
Classes will be Monday & Wednesday 5-5:30pm & Fridays 5:30-6pm in our Dooradoyle Dojo at Garryowen Rugby Football Club.
The cost is €130 per student for the 3 months.
